just saw the commercial for Star Wars Phantom menace 3D

can this guy milk any more out of that franchaise ?

he might have been considered as one of the greatest filmakers of all time , but now he might be

considered as the " KISS " of filmmaking. give us something new
 
I concur, hes raped this franchise for everything its worth and then some.

Who are you to say what he can or can't do to HIS movie? Don't like it? Don't go see it.
 
Just another indication that Hollywood has nothing left to give. I won't be going. I didn't bother seeing parts 2 & 3, because it was obvious whatever magic 4 through 6 had, back in the day, it was gone now.

It's done. It's over. Retire and live off your merchandising rights, George. Robot Chicken and Family Guy are doing better work with your movies, these days, than you are.

Im not telling him what he can or cant do, Im just sharing an observation. I didnt go and see part 2 and 3 after 1 sucked. The 4,5,6 remasters were nothing special and I wont be seeing the 4,5,6 3D ones either (the 3rd time hes remaking the SAME 3 movies). If your a fanboy then each to their own I guess.

I agree. I've seen 4 through 6 dozens of times. I saw 1 through 3 once each, and never again. 3D is not going to make those movies any better.
 
I though the newer 3 was pretty disappointing, but 2 and 3 were ok ... Take out anakin and Jar Jar and you got some decent movies lol.

the plots weren't great, but I still enjoyed the chacters of Qui Gon, Mace Windu, Darth Maul, etc.
 
I've never fully watched any Star Wars :shock:
