Genius in Vaughn tweets asking for a dope delivery at work; gets fired.

What a moron!
I don't think I'm allowed to bring beer in my workplace let alone order illegal substances.
They should've charged him, not for possessing weed but for being an idiot

"Gotta watch what you tweet nowadays" ya think? or ... crazy opinion ... don't tweet at all?

Proof that weed kills brain cells.

I brought wine as gifts to my old work place....nothing wrong with that.

Not the same context. I offered my boss wine for a reference a while ago.

I'll bring a beer to lunch when I'm ready to quit this job. Let's see how that goes

pfft, our boss shares a glass of Vino with us once in a while, nobody is gonna get hammered off of it, it raises morale and emphasizes equality as in (we're all equal here).

Total de-normalization of EVERYTHING in todays society.

Having a drink makes you an alcoholic.

The guys an idiot, absolutely, but i just LOVE how quickly everyone will CYA in these situations.

Wow, what a tool. I thought just buying from kijiji dealers was idiotic enough lol

It'd probably be a different story if you rolled up like this...

This is a potential for good April fools joke.
Stand in the parking lot by the entrance at lunch and your break time drinking out of beer bottles (filled with water).
Make a recording of you filling empty beer bottles with water.
Wave and say hi to everyone loudly, ask them if they want a drink (drink not beer).
Now go inside and act normally, see how long it takes for them to call you to HR.
If you get in trouble or fired, collect the cash for wrongful termination and go on a trip.
Send pics to them :)

On behalf of the older 40+ folks on here I apologize. I always ask my wife to give me heck if I am acting like a "Mr. Wilson" and telling kids to get off my lawn. Not sure what is the deal with your neighbor? I would go out of my way to avoid that guy like the plague. I suspect he has no aversion to drama and obviously does not have fear of retribution or legal ramifications for his actions. It actually scares me to think of what that guy might do one day.

Edit... Oops... This was meant to go on the thread about the guy getting his bike kicked over by his neighbor.

As for this story... Guy was an idiot to actually openly tweet that. I do not personally partake but I suspect use of whacky tobaccy is pretty widespread nowadays; even at work.

Unfortunately true. I have no issues with personal consumption when off the clock. I may or may not have partaken in it a time or two  But when I was training new guys, I always told'em "What you do in the off hours in camp is your business and won't hear anything about it from me. Your time, your fun. But if I catch you tokin' or boozin' on the grid, you better have your resume ready". A few guys made that speech an unfortunate necessity. A great majority didn't require it - they were professional enough to know what's allowed while on the clock and what's not.
