OK, so I converted an old Buell into a single seater, never to carry a passenger again (cafe racer hump is oil tank now). Before I hack off the triangle passenger peg mounts I'd consider mounting reflectors or led safety lighting there. Thoughts?

No, I don't think so. Need a white retina burner to make it worth while. Just came back from the Icehouse, some guy had what I want on his lower forks both sides. They were bright!! Didn't notice them until he had his helmet on and the bike running so didn't want harsh his pulling out of the parking lot mellow. I will get to the bottom of this.

Maybe you can look for cree xm-l light strips or something like that, but a light strip might have trouble delivering ~1000lm without enough heat dissipation. . Be warned though, most **** cumming out of china is supposedly xm-l... Also a lot of things have XM-Ls but that does not mean they are driven anywhere near their capacity.
