Gas tank touch up paint where to get?

I have a couple of little dings in my gas tank that i want to cover. The bikes manual has the original paint # in it but it's a very old bike (84 honda) so i'm not sure where to get it and don't really want to go through the whole ordeal of ordering it through a dealer.

Is there an automotive paint i could get at Crappy Tire that would do the job? i don't care if it's an exact match as long as i can get something close as it's just two tiny spots to cover. I see several paint touch up roll on sticks on their site that are for car scratches, would those work? Any recommendations?

You might be able to find the exact match through this company http://www.colorrite.com but it is a bit pricey.

You can always try one of the Canadian Tire Duplicolour paints, but getting a close match will be a craps shoot... you might get lucky though!
