Gas leaked onto my fairing sticker...

Is there a fix for this?

Only "fix" would be buying a new decal. They are reasonably cheap, and not to bad to install if you give yourself some marked points to start from.

How did you 'leak' gas onto your fairings?

petcock screws/gasket was loose... i tightened them now, but the sticker looks like *****

gas seeped onto the fairing and i found it like this today...

any ideas where to get the fairing stickers? other then the dealer...

Ebay. Or just take them off.

Not that I am certain it would work, but a heat gun may tighten things up. The problem is that there is no longer any glue and you may end up just having the wrinkled areas wrinkle even further into nothing..

replaced the petcock yesterday... hopefully that solves the leaking fuel...

the decal has shrunk... look like i wont have to replace it...
