Good ride today guys. I had a blast. Big thanks to Z1K for leading, and fixing mikes bike.
Holy crap - Z1K is one of the most conscientious and polite riders I know... for him to be arguing with those "hikers" they must surely have had the worst attitude possible.
I think Rob might have incorrectly rendered his video with 15fps (definitely less than 29fps). The bitrate looks ok, but it feels like I'm watching through the blades of a fan or something...
I was thinking the same thing. What was that all about? Did he actually flag you guys down? And was this the east west road?
I rendered mine in x264, mp4, wmv hd, mp2 and they all do the same thing. I havent had issues before rendering ride/track videos but that one trail vid is choppy as hell. Only after final encode too, plays smooth in powerdirector.I think Rob might have incorrectly rendered his video with 15fps (definitely less than 29fps). Nope, just checked. 30fps. Hmmm I must just be that fast your eyes can't keep up...
Yeah that's it...![]()
I'm not sure whats wrong with it. But my computer sucks and all fast moving youtube videos look jittery to me. lol
They were walking down the middle of the road. Two of them jumped to the side and the gentleman (I use this term loosely) didn't. Luckily I was paying attention.
First he accused me of being there before the opening day. I politely informed him when the opening day was. (April 14th)
Then he accused me of riding too fast down the road. I politely informed him of the speed I was going when I rounded the corner. (50 kph)
He then tried to tell me it was a co-use trail, not a fireroad and I should be riding slow. I politely informed him he was incorrect. (If he was correct I'd have never stopped for his sorry ***)
He was getting more ignorant as the conversation went on so I not-so politely informed him he should not be speaking of things he didn't understand. I then started my bike and left.
I really felt like roosting him as we left, but figured it to be counter productive considering his anal nature. It sucks that one day he might get his way and the trail will be pedestrian only. Unfortunately not all riders are courteous either, at least you stopped for them. But some riders that I've seen would have raced right through them, mostly the ones that don't feel they need to buy a pass.
