Nothing beats a good redneck narrative.

:laughing3:

That dark smoke cloud looks suspiciously like a big poodle. What say you conspiracy theorist?

Given the circumstances i think the narrative was quite appropriate

So 14 people dead so far and 40+ missing from an explosion that hit 2.2 on the Richter scale and was felt up to 1.3km away.
I fail to see the humor in this.

Where on the Richter scale would you feel comfortable mindful that it's not a straight plot line?

The humor in this was the guys reaction due to his dialect and choice of words.
The incident itself is obviously not funny.

If it wasn't for the fact that people died, this would be one of those "this is cool, check this out" things. But seeing it explode, you just knew people died immediately, and that a few of them will never be found.

I am going out on a limb and speak on behalf of the people that died and say 0.
*presuming that I interpreted correctly what you wrote.

I'm starting to ******* think you don't find humour in anything......

You listed 4 bits of information but left out 1 vital bit. Distance from incident. That creates a disconnect. Thank God too because no way a human could bear the weight of all the tragedies unfolding every minute worldwide. So the seismic data was included to accentuate some of the dissipated gravity of the tragedy? Not needed.

I'm starting to ****ing think you don't find humour in anything......

I don't find it humorous either.. It's tragic incident and a person can't really help his/her dialect.

And I have already concluded that anyone that finds humor in this is a dolt.

I agree. But then how does one account for various coping strategies. Ever seen someone snicker or laugh at a funeral? If one truly thinks it's funny, well, then they have issues obviously.

I never knew propane was that explosive. I've worked in the kitchen of restaurants & loss a few hair on my hand & probably some eyebrows but never knew the extent. There's also a video where a fugitive was surrounded by police & he gassed the house, as soon as they bust open the door.... Boom

Ok. Thanks. You're obviously 20 years old.

What can I say, your sister likes them young and I like the cougar type.
We are happy. I hope that you can find happiness.

It was a fertilizer plant, so it was ammonium nitrate. Think of Timothy McVeigh and the Oklahama truck bomb.

Propane is what exploded in the GTA in I think 2008?

Propane is fairly inert. It needs to be between 3 and 9% propane to air for it to burn. If it was possible to drop a lit match in to a propane tank, the match would just go out.
Propane tanks will explode, but they need to be heated up to the point that the pressure relief valve can't keep up or fails, the tank itself ruptures and then boom.
If you ever get a leaky propane tank and a fire results and you can't turn off the tank or stop the leak, do NOT put out the flame as it's burning off the excess fuel, that if otherwise left alone would end up collecting and waiting for ignition like the house bomb in the video you're talking about.

I worked for a couple years directly with propane. Used to walk through clouds of the stuff without worry.
