Bike was totally fine, needed gas and filled up with 87 (recommended in manual) at Pioneer.
A couple minutes after filling up, I noticed a different noise, no performance lost, and just continued on my ride. The noise was hard to hear so I thought it could just be in my mind.
Today, I turned the bike on to put it on the trailer, and without having a helmet on I could hear the noise.
It almost sounds like air being sucked in through an air intake. However, that isn't what it is. I turned the bike off, and turned the key back to "on" and listened as my fuel pump did it's usual initial pressurization, but that sucking noise accompanied it...
So, it's now down to my fuel pump... Is it about to let go? I'm gonna ride it and see how it goes, but I hate knowing something isn't right.
Guess I'll have to order a new one and throw it in when I take the bike apart for paint in July if this noise doesn't go away.
