Enjoy my misfortune and misery, because less face it...this **** is funny when it isn't you. Ride extra careful on cold tires and cold pavement kids.

Now, time to get drunk!

LOL man, few seconds and boom.
Glad you're okay and nothing serious on the bike.
Mirrors made me laugh cause they both went in.

ah that sucks dude, at least you are ok

...waiting on the MotoGP analysts and their expert opinion on what went wrong

good to hear your alright and wearing gear. Little bit of fiberglass and some spray paint goes a long ways. She wont be as pretty, but thats why the CBR is a nice BBQ black, got a bit ambitious sliding the backend around at the track one day.

If you are looking for pro paint, portugal auto body in breslau does a good job at a reasonable price.

heart sank when i saw this. reminds me of my spill.
glad you're ok.

Thats the shity part of the sport.I hate seeing that happen but sooner or later we all go down. You took it well I usually have a seizure within seconds of seeing the damage

Thanks for the tip. I'll look them up. The plastics are fixable and can get repainted later down the line.

Aww **** man..I shoulda took it out in the rain and crashed it for ya first!

Glad to hear you're okay, and in good enough spirits to post it up.
Didn't have to go far to get home.

For plastic repair/paint .. talk to Les "cheekeebandito" .. he can do them up back to OEM.

But wait till near the end of the season now.

I had a second set of panels for the Givi bags and sanded down the scuffs so it doesn't look as bad. I think your right about waiting till the end of the season. I'm going to Deals Gap in May so there's still time to do more damage :)

You know what I'm like...once my bike goes down, everyone can run a "train" on her.

my shed turns into a paint shop in the winter, if you still need a place to paint by then, give me a shout. I'm way too cheap to do pro repaints on (what is mostly) a track bike. Most of my plastics have been banged up pretty good, lots of fiberglass and bondo. you get good at it after a while, and its cheap.

Just to make you feel better, here was the last crash:

sure, sure, blame the cold tires? I'd say your neighbours we're out to get you and greased the street, or maybe a banana peel or something.

At least you were able to avoid the "walk of shame" back to your driveway, and ride it back.

And hey, at least the kids were happy to see you back so quick! :)

Oh man, that blows - you just got that thing. At least you're alright.

Dude that really sucks, sorry to see stuff like that happen. Glad you're ok.
Hey you took it well I would not have been that cool and calm.

how the hell did that happen you weren't even in a lean?? and your kid is so cute, he has no idea what just happened and comes running and waving at the helmet cam with a big smile...lol

I wish I had a better answer. I'm going to say an invisible clothes line took me out. :)
My son's a ham...I had to keep that part in...he makes me laugh.
