I was out riding the other night and my bike started sputtering so I turned to prime then reserve... and the engine just sputtered to a stop. I opened up the gas tank and the longer pipe of the fuel tap inside the tank was lying horizontally on the right side of the fuel tank (fuel tap is on left).
First Question: Am I correct in assuming that I couldn't switch to reserve because the main pipe was broken off and basically using all the gasoline (to a lower point than the reserve fuel tap pipe)?
Second question: Is it just a compression fit pipe that I could manoeuvre and wedge back into place with long needle nose pliers? I ride an '03 Ninja EX250
Thanks in advance!
