Anyone have a specific brand they use? I'm looking at the ones from CT and they seem to be for autos. Don't know if that matters.

It doesn't matter if it is for autos, the fuel injection system for motorcycles operates on the same principles as PFI gasoline engines.

The most effective active ingredient is polyether amine, which goes by PEA for short-form. Do not confuse with PBA which is polybutenel amine.

The last time I looked into it, Redline Fuel injector cleaner and Amsoil PI had the highest concentrations of PEA for "off the shelf" products. I would say these are harder to find off the shelf, the last time I bought was off of a member on this forum about a year ago.

What is seafoam? Is that a brand? I tried googling it and the procedure seems kinda complicated

I would use some Seafoam. It's a very good solvent and does magic with my carbs on my older bike.

I have a can of seafoam sitting in my garage, heard good stuff about it but never used it, afraid i might smoke up the whole neighbourhood and someone might call the cops lol.

Seafoam is the brand (there's a few products). Most people use this stuff.

A few ounces in every tank (the ratios are on the bottle). Not much to it.

Dont know about the cops, but the Fire department for sure .. :)

I did it once to my old Dakota, and the neighbours thought my house was on fire.
