FS/FT: 2005 Aprilia RSV1000 Clean Title - Can be assembled for track or street
I'm considering selling outright or trading my RSV1000R. It's a 2005 with ultra low kms. It was lowsided once (on the street at low speed) and after I lowsided I decided to ride on the track only (until I see everyone else riding on the road then i'm sure i'll regret this lol). The bike took cosmetic damage but all hardparts/functional stuff is ok and functional, with a scrape on the swingarm, clutch cover, paint chip on the tank and one exhaust scraped.
Title is still clean.
I began to prep the bike for track only duty but decided I'd like to race in SOAR and this bike is still way too clean for me to want to cut up into a full-time track bike (it's easy to buy a full set of fairings and lights off someone on apriliaforum to return it to street duty...there's a guy selling a set right now for like $550 for fairings and it's common to find full sets of fairings and all lights for $1000-$1200).
I've got a full set of brand new still in box Catalyst Composite race fairings for it.
I'd like to trade it for an already prepped track bike (either straight trade or bike + cash depending on what your offering). No 1000cc's please, 600's (or 675's only).
The aprilia has the following hopups on it:
- SilMotor Ti Exhaust (ECU has been properly set to Map2 so will accept aftermarket exhausts and Dynojets)
- Carbon Rear Fender
- Arrow Titanium Competition Steering Damper
- Pazzor Levers (long clutch, shorty brake)
- New frame, axle, swingarm sliders and stand spools.
- Power Commander 3 (still in box uninstalled)
- That should be it unless i'm forgetting anything.
Asking $7000 cash outright or reasonable offers and of course trades as mentioned above.
I'm not particularily hardpressed to sell it. If I get lots of lowballs, i'll keep it and ride it into the ground. She really is a wonderful handling bike, the riding position was way more comfy than the ducati's I've ridden and it's got plenty of grunt to keep you happy.
best way to reach me is here at GTAM.
Cheers
