This is a Garmin 2720 GPS that has probably seen over 50k km on my bike, and has the latest 2011 Garmin maps. Personally, I much prefer this GPS over the newer Garmin models, specifically the Zumo 660 that I had a chance to use for 4500km. I like it so much that I bought the next model up, the 2820. Regardless of the price, I like these gps' more than the Zumo's, once you factor in the price, they're unbeatable. Every functional feature that the modern gps' have, this one has, including uploading premade routes and logging your trip.
The bad part is that the GPS does not work as it is. For whatever reason it will not boot past the splash screen. If connected to a computer and you do a hard reset, it will boot and everything works fine until it has to boot up without being connected to a computer. I imagine it's some sort of software problem but I haven't been able to figure it out. If you can't figure it out either, Garmin has a $100 flat rate exchange service, basically they will sell you a factory refurbished 2720 for $100 once you ship them this one. I was planning to go this route, but I was offered the 2820 at an unbeatable price.
The unit has been used on a motorcycle and shows some experience scars, though most of the marks were caused and are hidden by the RAM mount. Once again, you can always ship it to Garmin and they'll sell you another for $100.
Asking $50 for it, so worst case scenario, you'll be getting a factory refurbished 2720 for $150, try to get a Zumo for that much. The RAM mount and power cable will probably set you back about $40
Includes the home power cable, unfortunately I've lost the car related accessories.
