FS: 97 Saab 900se 2.0T w/ trans from 01 9-3, lots of recent work, $750 OBO

1997 Saab 900se turbo (2.0) manual. Alloy 16" rims. Sunroof. Heated front and rear seats.

The good:
- Transmission replaced with one from a 2001 9-3. This means you get a hydraulic clutch instead of a cable clutch (easier and more reliable).
- full new suspension
- all new poly bushings (all suspension and steering)
- rebuilt alternator
- brand new front tires
- new thermostat
- new upper rad hose
- paint is in good shape
- interior I would rate as a 7/10
- all grounds recently cleaned up
- all new engine and transmission mounts
- driver side axle and bushings replaced
- new spark plugs and direct injection cassette
- rims recently professionally straightened
- both trunk struts replaced recently
- rebuilt idle valve installed and throttle body cleaned
- window, sunroof, and power lock controls all work perfectly.

The bad:
- Only runs for a few minutes before it stalls. Told it needs an ECU replacement but I talked to an ECU expert and he says it sounds more like a fuel pump. (Last time I started it, it ran for a good 15 minutes without much issue other than rough idle. Did not stall in the end we just got bored of watching it.)
- Small rust spot above driver's side rear wheel (only rust on the car)
- Leak in trunk somewhere. The carpet has been removed to try to find it. All parts included. Very common for this model (literally every single one I've ever seen).
- Driver's powered seat back angle adjustments do not work. Total seat tilt and back and forth controls still work.
- Driver's heated seat does not work (passenger and rear heated seats do work).
- CD changer in trunk does not rear CDs. There is a cheap fix for this available online.
- Flex pipe in exhaust needs replacing I think.
- Brakes might need some cleaning from sitting so long (but rotors were replaced recently).
- Drive clean is due.
- paint on front bumper cracked from previous owner.

$750 OBO as is.

Car is not insured so no street test drives. You can drive it around the parking lot where it is stored but nothing beyond that. Car is currently stored at my workplace in Mississauga. I live in Toronto. Need gone ASAP. No decent offers ignored. Put probably $4000 into the car but after the ECU/fuel problems, I decided I didn't want to deal with it any more because I needed something that works to get me to work and bought a replacement already. Serious inquiries only. Let me know your offering price up front. I am not bringing a bunch of tire kickers to my workplace.

This car is a beast in the snow. Remember those major snow storms in London, ON a few years ago? I drove this thing daily in two of them and never got stuck. Would happily pass by SUVs stuck at parking lot entrances. Would make an awesome winter beater or just a good utility car (lots of room in the back since it's a hatchback/wagon).

The reason the glove box is not installed in the pics is because I was fiddling with the ECU and the glovebox needs to be removed to gain access to that. It takes about 15 minutes or less to put it all back together but I didn't see the point if it needs an ECU anyway.

Also have a power steering brace and 2 point front subframe brace brand new in the packaging; a set of snow tires on steelies; and a source for a reflashed ECU for $200 including upping the power (I think it was to 220 hp or something).

According to what I've read and seen on YouTube this car will do just under 250 kph stock (when it's running properly).

Bump.

Bump and asking price drop to $750. I need this gone.
