Front wheel alignment

Noticed that my front wheel points slightly to the right (when looking at the front) when the triple tree is straight is this an easy fix to align the front wheel. What would I have to do, or should I take it to a mechanic

Did you crash? Are you looking at the triple tree or the clip ons? If the triple tree is facing forward for sure and your wheel isn't then:

1. Raise front of the bike
2. Loosen all clamps holding the forks and the axle.
3. Hold wheel between legs
4. Grab forks with hands and twist relative to the wheel.
5. Tighten triple clamps.

Hopefully you should be able to get the wheel straightened out this way. After everything looks good you should also take something flat (sheet of glass or metal or something) roughly 5"x12" and lay it flat on your forks just below the lower triple, and make sure it lays flat on both forks. You should not be able to rock it back and forth very much at all.

Hopefully that helps

The bike may have been down at one time and the forks are slightly twisted in the triple clamps. Follow the procedure above but you shouldn't really have to force it back into alignment if everything is loose enough; truple clamps, axle, even calipers. Once everything is loose it should come back into place naturally.

Then start tighten from the bottom up, axle first, then caliper bolts, lower triple then upper triple.

Thanks and yes I crashed, got everything pretty much fixed, and I just noticed the front wheel. Gonna try to fix it this weekend thanks again
