im in the process of looking into swaping my front end, its for a 97 suzuki intruder i was wondering if i can swap it for literally any suzuki front end? are all steering stems the same? was thinking of swaping it for the 2nd gen sv650, any pointers would be helpful

no. stems might not be the same.

you'd have better luck at a bike specific forum.
 
You don't need to stay with Suzuki for a front end swap. I have a YZF600R front end on my 86 VFR750.

Your biggest challenge with be fork length, as they should be close to the original length. It looks like the Intruder has very long forks, and I don't think ANY sport bike fork's would be long enough.

Also need to think about finding a stem that fits your frame, steering stops, ignition lock, to name a few...
I think this will be very difficult. Hit google and see if it has been done.
