Was at the CT (Main and Danforth) on Friday and saw these in front of the bicycle display.
Thought someone here might possibly be interested so I'm passing the info along.

i bought them in sale for 90$. They're not so much junk since the do the job unless you own a Honda bike.
The thing that makes them not so great is that you have to bend the frame to fit your bike. This is really stupid but it usually takes a few inches of squeezing or stretching.

if rashidme post is still available i'd get those.

I bought mine 7 years ago, same ones at my local CT for 99bux plus tx. They have been used often including 4 years trackside. I would not refer to them as a high end stand, however to dispute what some above posters have said, they are definately NOT JUNK. Also big props to the local distributor I have needed two new spools(4 sizes come with kit) in the past 7 years, both times they sent me replacements at no charge within a couple days of contacting them!

CT price is too high!
I would trade my gorilla stands for another set of CT stands anyday! The gorilla stands are a two piece design which allows for movement. They are much thinner metal and the rear stand spool cradles are held in place by a set screw!!!

Gorilla stands are fit for the pit!

have you ever had those fail thougH?

The gorillas are garbage as already mentioned.

They assemble together which makes for a wobbly stand.

They do the job but I wouldn't trust leaving the bike on the stand overnight, and def will not last in the long haul

I don't know what you're talking about...
I used these stands to store my bike last year and they've held up quite well.
Also storing the bike on them this year and still no issues.

I found the regular price at other places much cheaper. Call around, get the best price, go into CT and get a price match.

I have this set at home and wasn't overly happy about having to bend the stands to match the bike, but it's a one-time deal. No issues with the stands since. FWIW, I didn't use the spools that came with the stands.

i had a rear fail.
the female part of the tube split when lifting the bike. glad none of it what mine, and i has my sis holding the bike.

I have both a CT and Gorilla rear stand. IMO the CT one is a much better piece as once fitted it is very solid and stable. The Gorilla is cheap and the bike isn't nearly as stable on it (both GSXR's).

I've had the rear CT one on my bike for 5+ years now and still using the original spools. Never ever had a problem. Solid as a rock.

As for the front ones, I couldn't use them, my bike has uneven front forks.
