Hey Guys and Gals,

I am happy to join (rejoin) the bike nation. With M1 though but will have M2 in Apr'12 and M in May'12. I had an old and valid foreign licence, an ex biker but was hibernating for 15 years or so. Some good logical people at Ministry were able to accept the experience from day 1 on foreign licence . Great help from Toronto Show last weekend which inspired me to clean my hands again riding all over the place. Yes, I got exemption on waiting times between tests.

I am rigorously searching for a cruiser along with insurance quotes. A used Suzuki C50 SEC is what I am looking for. But a second thought comes to get a 250cc street to get my boots a bit dirty first and then to a cruiser. Any assistance in regards to both kinds + a good insurance broker will be appreciated.

By the way great show by site owners at the Trade Show. Also seeking to network cool riders in the area.

Respect.

Welcome... If you have the experience why not get a large cruiser???

(You might find the Suzuki C50 SEC gutless riding two up).

You are right. My concern is to keep the insurance low in the beginning by keeping the motor below 750cc. Insurance companies like to be 'hear no man see no man' when it comes to an outside experience. This is unfortunate even when rules and regulation of riding are almost same. Same world, same planet, same surface, same human and the same two-wheeled motorcycle. What much to say.
