Fried Engine - Help??

Hi, so as the title indicates, I lost a lot of oil and was surrounded by white smoke before I knew what was going on. Turned the engine off, fixed the leak and filled her up with oil again.

She still runs but when idling I hear a hollow ticking sound, which gets faster as the RPM climbs. I've heard cars sound like this, it's the "tractor" sound. If I'm in the right gear and at the right RPM she almost sounds normal again though. I also noticed that when I first started her, she was burning oil, not sure if she still is.

Questions:
1. Am I at the point of no return and absolutely have to take her to a mechanic? (I'd like to avoid that expense if possible)

2. Is there anyone out there with the knowledge and tools to fix it that would be willing to work with me to repair it? I'm still learning my way around a bike engine and this seems like a good opportunity to learn a lot. I would reimburse you for your trouble. I'm in Guelph but can ride over.

Year/make/model

Youtube video of bike running would be helpful.

Where was the oil leak, what caused it?

White smoke is concerning, that should be coolant, have you checked your coolant level?

Based on OP's other posts, it's a Hyo 250R. It's probably time to throw it out and get another bike.

From a bit of searching, it appears to be a 2009 Hyosung GT250R.

Oh boy. Not the first time one of those has lost an engine.

Resale value will be less than what it is likely to cost to repair, and there is no guarantee that a repaired or replacement engine will be any more durable than the original one.

Scrap it / sell it for parts and buy a Ninja 250.
