In Australia, a bird swept down and stole a steak off my BBQ when I stepped away from it momentarily. I saw it pick it up and fly away only to drop it mid-air. It wasn't even close to the size of an eagle.

So I suppose its possible an eagle could try to do this but I think its fake based on the footage and that I don't think the eagle would of done that with people around the baby.
