Not really.. Actual hunters already own firearms a heck of a lot more expensive than what an incentive on a $1200 purchase would buy. Nice publicity stunt, though.

True... but that's because I need:
My shotgun for: ducks/geese, deer, turkey, coyote, rabbit.
My .243 for: Coyote, deer, (longer range stuff)
A larger rifle for: Bear, moose, Elk, etc.
and a .22 for cheap plinking and practice and for new shooters to be introduced on.
Plus I can think of a few to have just for fun like an SKS and kit it out.

True, but if it's a hunting rifle of a common caliber, chances are they have something equivalent and better and would prefer something else
Definitely a Tech peep, 100's good enough, 200 doesn't cost too much more. If you're going for a plastic stock, go with Crapco over ATI. Don't get receiver cover mounts as they can't hold zero worth ****.. Go with one where you have to drill/tap the receiver. Lasers are fun too
