Depends when you are going...
On Coxwell, north of Lakeshore, there is free street parking on the weekend and weekday evenings.
This weekend it will be a zoo with the Ribfest at Woodbine Park.

Not sure how legal it is but I've parked up just off the sidewalk as you pull in next to the parking lot with the attendant. I *think* that little stretch is considered the parking lot's property and so is not eligible for tickets.
not legal, eligible for tickets either from the city or the parking lot.
toronto has free street parking for motorcycles and scooters anywhere parking is legal.

sorry, I meant to add that the parking lot attendant was the one who told me I could park on that strip; hence my thought that it might be eligible.

yup, your totally fine parking there, i parked there all the time last summer season, great and convient area to park, since it is just off the sidewalk... you'll be fine, also you'll see bikes parked on the little islands as well, but i always park by the sidewalk instead
you there for beach volleyball, or just beach bumming or just checking out the scenery
