Fox shock rebuild

Hello all,
I'm riding a BMW k75 with a fox twin clicker rear shock. Does anyone know any one who can do the rebuild for it? I'd be interested in learning myself but so far getting information from fox is like pulling teeth. They don't seem to care about there street stuff anymore. Anyone have any suggestions? Im in Toronto but my bike is currently near ottawa.

Thanks

I have the same in my race bike. Any shop will be sending it out to a specialist so you shouldn't have any trouble getting someone to do the work.

Pro6, Z1 and Riders Choice all do shock cleanup in house. I personally sent my stuff to Accelerated Technologies (John Sherrard) during the winter season and wait a while for it to come back when he gets it done.

Cost can vary for shocks, expect around$100 to $200 plus parts (oil, seals etc if needed, new spring if current spring is incorrect etc).

OK, I may be recalling incorrectly that shops can do shock oil/spring changes but rebuilds require more technical wizardry, such as shock dynos, revalving, etc. at places like Accelerated Tech. Thanks for the info.

John Sharrard will be at the Jan bike show, might be worth stopping by if you haven't done anything yet. This guy knows his stuff! He modified my front forks ( BMW F800ST ) and then replaced the rear shock with a Elka...transforms the bike!
