I can't remember now how I ended up here (it was a Google search), but I decided to join. I've commented on a few posts already, so I thought I should introduce myself .
This is my second full year riding, and my wife's third. It's strange that I started riding so recently, because I grew up spending weekends at Shannonville (my dad worked as track doctor there in the 80s).
After an RTI course, I spent my first year year riding a GZ250, then I upgraded to a Marauder S50 at the motorcycle show. (I had a guy on the identical bike pull up beside me on the ride home today!). I try to remind myself every day that I'm still a n00b.
My wife is a member of the CAV, and is helping organize the Ride To Remember this year (but more on that separately). I'm just an innocent bystander (and I host the local unit website), but it means I'll be participating in more than a few weekend charity rides over the summer - maybe I'll run into you there!
