gravel a few turns before the hairpin going east bound on the forks....riders beware!

dont think so, i think its actual gravel off a construction truck, since near the beginning of the forks there was construction going on today lol

There's multiple properties that have construction of some sort going on.

Other than 1 incident 27 years ago.... What "games" are you refering to?

Pualhv1 might be reffering to the reports of locals tossing gravel on the road, and even throwing stuff at riders as they ride by.

I haven't seen it myself but I have heard the "stories".

Yes sir thats it, I have seen the odd garden hose left running at the bottom of a driveway.

I've witnessed a resident throwing rocks at bikers on the forks of the credit... Buyer beware? Don't buy real estate without a tad of research

Locals need to take chill pill. It's only 4 months out of year u get bit of noise, not to mention the business they get from all the riders.

If they don't hear you coming they won't be throwing rocks. +1 for electric sportbikes. Some bikes make the china rattle in the shed (Higher Ground now) which is totally unnecessary. I can see the residents getting tired of it.

I don't know how much business riders really bring, judging by GTAM meets, very little!

I can't stand going down there just for the police presence. Last time I went down I went through 5 speed traps in two hours: two were setup on the Forks.

If people would not behave like hooligans they wouldn't be here so much. People need to realize that there are visitors on foot and residents here. The few who can't get it and need to ride the forks at mach 1 have ruined it. The road isn't even that great

Sent from my commodore 64 on dial up

What is the point of going down there if not to behave like a hooligan?

I condone anyone going over 30km/hr at any point

There is almost always someone there. It's not just GTAM members there. (I always stop at the store to grab something)

I go there frequently given that it only takes 15 minutes to get there from home. It's part of a regular loop that I do when I get sick of working in my home office ...

solution: don't go (or just take it easy) on weekends.

My usual riding style of not attracting attention on straightaways, and not slowing down for corners (except the hairpin!) works well there. Stock quiet exhaust, too.

Anyhow, today, there were a couple of workers doing something on the bridge that is almost underneath the railway tracks, just down the hill from the hairpin, and that's it. Road was clear. Mississauga Road North (past Caledon ski club) ... not so much. But the issues are in the usual spots - right at the bottom, and one corner up from the bottom in the southbound lane.
