My first review. I rotated the pictures on my computer then uploaded to imageshack, not sure why they are still sideways.

Over the years, I have purchased more and more gear which has allowed me to be a little bit more protected for this hobby. It was a picture of a friend's friend's (passenger) knee injury that pushed me to pick up some type of knee protection. I had considered the Icon Styker Knee Protection but opted for the Force Field. I had read some reviews about the Icon to be bulkier and it lower part digs into the shins.
As you can see, the knee protectors are nicely packaged. It comes with two knee protectors, a hanger and a couple tags which provides information about the different types of materials used, how to clean it, etc. There are two removable elastic bands, one on top and another for the bottom.
I wore them around the house and found that if these will slide down your leg even if the straps are in place. Similar to what I've read about the Icon Stryker, the bottom part of the shin protection does dig into the shin. It's not overly uncomfortable, but you do feel it. I also put my new A* SMX Plus boot on to see how it'll feel. Obviously, with the boot on, the knee protection doesn't slide down which makes me believe that the straps are not really needed. I assume that in riding position, the knee protection will not dig into my shins. I also tried on my ski boots with them and they felt more comfortable than when I was wearing it with the A*'s.
When I took them off (after about 15-20 min), I felt that there was sweat building up. I'm not the type to sweat easily but my legs did start getting warm. Maybe these are better during colder weather. I'd have to test these during the season to see if they are breathable.
I wore these under my jeans and they felt fine. When I bent my knee, you could see them, but I don't think it's a big deal. I probably wouldn't wear these with shorts. I think the Icon Stryker looks better, but to each their own.
I'll wait till summer to post an update to this review.
Feel free to ask me any questions and I'll try to answer to the best of my abilities.

I purchased the knee protectors from Michael @ Rider's Discount. He's a great guy to deal with. I had him ship to a hotel I stayed in and he had no problems with it. Communication is fast, payment was easy. Well recommended guy to deal with.
