Selling my Yellow 2004 Suzuki SV-650s.
I just have absolutely no time to ride it and would prefer to sell it to someone who will.
The Good:
Bought new (0km) in July 2004. I am the first and only owner.
14,xxx km. Have only put on 190km this yr
Stored covered in a garage always. Summer and winter.
Never stunted.
Never raced.
Oil and filter changes done every 2500km, as well as at beginning and end of every season.
Full JMV lowers installed. Very rare, and uncommon set as they stopped making them in 2005. I have never seen another SV wearing them.
GSXR-1000R rear shock installed.
Upgraded to Race Tech fork springs. 0.95kg
Front brake lines are Galfer braided stainless.
Awesome sounding Yoshimura slip on with a GSXR 4-bolt elbow allowing you to swap on any GSXR compatible exhaust.
Clear Alternatives integrated tail light.
Frame sliders installed
Ridiculously cheap on insurance. (currently paying $65 month for full coverage w/State farm)
Will include front and rear stands. A box of misc. tools and extra / stock parts.
Will include full size bike cover and disc lock.
Have 2 keys, including master key with replacement security code.
The bad:
Low sided once the first month I owned it. Resulting slide made a scrape on the left side head fairing and scratched the kickstand. Both defects do not affect performance.
Heat from exhaust is causing paint on bottom edge of right side lower fairing to peel. Not noticeable unless you point it out as it is starting from underneath the fairing
Stone chips on head fairing, and leading edge of lower fairings.
