For all you engineers out there...

what does this have to do with driving a train?

A little fun with numbers....

Yeah I'm a six....

Then again how is someone supposed to know what "^" means unless youre a comp eng. Oops I'll edit my OP

Mechanical here.. i know what ^ means.

Adding superfluous complexity to a simple concept, eh? You must work in desgin engineering.

Hmmmm, Engineers in terms of education I guess not that you have to be one to get it, but I thought they would be able to know what they're looking at immediately.

Apparently all the education in the world can't get you a sens of humour.

Man, I don't know what the bore and stroke is on my bike and I'm too lazy to look it up.

Also, if I can't sleep I usually just wank it or watch some tv or something...:p

I am civil enginer so my bike is somewhere around 0-2L

Edit: Please tell me the ^ that was edited wasn't the 67^2 was it? Because people are retarded. But I am fairly certain most high school math students even know that one.

I don't know what people know. Didn't seem obvious to me. If you showed me that in HS, I woulda thought it was an typo.:lol:

I'm software engineer

$this->bike
->setMake("Kawi")
->setModel("Vulcan")
->setYear("2009")
->setCapacity("498")
->setType("Cruiser");

typing this on an iPhone was so much fun....lol

(Pi/4) * 62^2 * 41.2 * 2 = 248771/1000 = 248.8

I was hoping my math would've come up with a bigger number but I guess I'll have to believe what the manufacturer says.

It's amazing how the the engine capacity is just like advertised, eh?

Some are.. most arent.. 80% of them have the personality and social skills similar to that of a potted house plant.. the other 20% are what i like to call "mentally hilarious"

QFT.

I would like to think we have the majority of those guys in Construction though. There are a couple guys at work that get my cracking up uncontrollably.

I dunno..I think it's not quite that bad..a lot of the guys I worked with were alright..pretty normal. Yeah you had your Far Side weird professor types but I don't think too many. I'd say it's more like 30% potted plants, 20% no humour and 50% pretty normal. Maybe I'm the potted plant variety though and just don't realize it!! :-)

Definitely gunna go with most engineers being weirdo's. I base this on my personal experience (I'm a mechanical eng) and the reaction of people when I tell them I'm an engineer.
