For All The Guys Who Dislike The Ninja 250

I dont get it....All it shows me is a very talented rider riding again less talented dudes on faster bikes...

Now put that dude on a SS and we'll see the same thing, a talented dude destroying less talented dudes.

Just shows that power isn't everything. The guy on the 250 was miles ahead in terms of skill level...I loved the difference in breaking points.

Sidebar: I would LOVE to ride Laguna Seca >_<

The bike is still slow.

Id be impressed if you gave a 600 ss to pedrosa and 250 ninja to marquez and marquez was winning. Until that happens refer to kahuna's ad :D

Just wanted to show a good rider can still hang with the big bikes on a 250. Half the guys riding around only use 300cc out of the 600cc' anyway. Enjoy the day!

What does that even mean? So because someone less talented is slower through corners, they're automatically using less engine?

Lol I just mean it sarcastically, I see lots of around that can go faststraightJust need to look at their tires

Love my 250, I usually ride alone so its not so "slow" until I start riding with 600's , thats the only time i want to upgrade!the 250 is so much fun in the twisties... other than that its quite slow LOL

Well Id say its only good for tighter twisties, on high speed twisties the 250r tops off or struggles too much to get to speed to actually go into the corners nicely.

I recently rode with a few 600's and 1000's , was able to keep up (if not pass a few times) with them in the twisties no problems, its not until the straight away that I get passed but I catch right back up in the turns.

Let's face it. It means at least half the population on sport bikes are there for the pose and it's true. Most will never even see the track. They're usually easy to spot. :lmao:

I can typically keep up in most/all group rides I've been on with the exception of the straights (where larger bikes like to go supersonic and well above 150-160km/h). Most bikes I ride with are 600cc+, but not like most people corner on the street (non-sweeper) above what a 250 can do. In sweepers though, they eat me alive.

With that said, I do wish I had more horsepower though, but that'll come when I upgrade likely to a 600 next year.

Old video. The rumour is that it was Ben Spies on the 250 when the video originally surfaced.

Can anyone enlighten me on my question with besides the fact of the rider's skill on the 250, what other reasons make the bigger bikes slower in corners than the 250?
