FMF Exhaust

I just recently got a new(to me) Drz 400 with a full FMF exhaust on it which is pretty LOUD and I need to quiet it down. I have found a QUIET CORE INSERT on the Motorcycle Superstore website and looks like it should do the trick. So what I would like to know is if anyone has tried this out and secondly where can I get one locally. I have the Royal book in front of me but doesnt look like they carry it.

I looked into that and it seems that there were some negatives to it, fit being one of them. The quiet core is from the same company and looks to fit perfectly.

search ebay for "exhaust baffle"
There's a bunch available for less than $10 in various lengths and sized you can insert into the exhaust. The technology insn't rocket science and you don't need to pay up for it.

Good Idea, do you know off hand what length would be good.

How long has the pipe been on? Might need to be repacked.

longer is quieter, so how long is up to you and the length that you can fit in there.
