Flush Mount Front Turn Signals

I ordered new signal lights for my ZX7 and the holes on my fairing are to big. Do I need to get brackets or do I use anything from my stock signal lights. I have a stem with wires and a bolt but how do I secure it to my fairings?


ANy help would be appreciated.
 
Pics would help but usually no modification or use of stock parts is needed. Sounds like a universal flushmount?
 
Do you mean the back of the flaring is too big and the blinker just pulls through?
 
ya, it won't let me upload pics. the nut and stem just fall through but it didn't come with brackets
 
ya they are universal, they just fall through the fairing hole.
 
Buy a big fender washer...put that between the threaded stem on the blinker and the nut.

Those cheap kits usually come with a large plastic washer to keep them sandwiched against the flaring.
