Quick question. Does anyone know first hand that a 600 cc sport bike will safely fit on a 5.5 with the tail gate down without having to angle the bike? Thnx much

yes, will be fine. my truck is 6.5 feet and is about 1 inch too long to close the tailgate. so youll be fine with the tailgate open.

Id say no it wont fit, unless you angle it sideways.

Ive gotta order a new tonneau as I have a hard cover and also by an ATV ramp but my bike is at another location. I was hoping to avoid having to drive there just to measure it, but it seems is not 100% how it will fit. Hoping someone who owns a 5.5 knows for sure for 600 cc machines. Ideally straight up cause i dunno if i can manage the load myself being 145 lb old man and all..thnx

If you need a hand loading it and its at your place .. let me know.

thnx. For various maintenance nd dyno Im here an there and really hoping to find a way to do it independently so I dont need to ask anyone or my wife to help load and unload wherever ive gotta take it. looking to avoid having to hook up my trailer each time. sucks way more gas as well.

Just google the bike specs and you'll get exact measurement. That's what I did when I built my shed prior to buying my bike.
