Hi guys. I want to buy a corsair-V and was wondering if anyone knows whether there are any sizing differences between corsair-V and the older corsair? (or rx-7 japanese version would be even better). I'm assuming they are the same, but wanted to double check before I pulled the trigger. Tks in advance!

I had a rx-7 medium and now own a corsair v in medium. The corsair v seems to be a bit loose after a while luckily you can change the cheek pads easily for tighter ones.

Had the same concerns as you, so I bit the bullet and trucked it to Royal in Innisiville to make sure.

Small in the RX-7, small in the Corsair-V. Fits even better than the RX-7. Fantastic helmet.

My RX-7 was much tighter when it was brand new, gradually it worked in and then over the years required a bandana to fit right (and keep the sweat out of the liner). The Corsair-V fits me snug, but never really had any "break-in" period, it was comfortable from the very beginning. Don't think I can get it on nicely with a bandana just yet, however.

Tks for the insight guys. so it seems that fitment is fairly close but that the corsair-v is a little "bigger". Not what I was hoping for (the rx-7 medium is a perfect fit for me)... but very useful info. tks again.

honestly... this also depends on the shape of your head. they've made some changes to the shapes of their helmets. the quantum ii used to fit me perfect.. the newer helmets no so much. it's best to go in and try them on.

ain't that the truth. i've always wanted to buy a rossi agv (and did a few years back), but they don't fit me well at all. Same thing with the suomy extremes. nada. hopefully the corsair-v hasn't changed shape too much from the predecessor....
