Hey guys, I have a 2011 cbr and I am thinking if I should bring it to the dealer for its first service? I read we need to check the valves and it will be hard (I dont know anything about bikes).

Is there any dealer/shop you guys recommend? I was thinking of going to markham powerhouse, anyone have experience with them?

I don't know about the cbr specifically, but a valve check that early sounds nuts!

I'd ask around on that before getting it done.....

First service should be lube pivot points, adjust chain, change oil..

Can't think of much else they would do for a Chain driven jap bike..

cbr 125/250/1000?

No way your manual calls for a valve check at its first oil change. Refer to the manual.

Add to that a complete inspection of the vehicle by someone who knows what to look for!

I'm also going to do my first oil change later this week after my bike has reached its first 1000km.

Aside for the oil change, what other services should I get done on the bike at this stage?

I got my bike at Kahuna and my bike is still under warranty. Do i get any free services or something if I go to the dealer?
