First run with my new camera rig

I like the one where its facing the rider behind you.

What is your 'rig'? pics????

You gonna shoot an actual video next time, maybe with some engine/exhaust noise instead of crappy music? That would be swell.

I like it! Funny, it's hard to tell the elevation changes though .... the dip at the ice cream place and the hairpins. I like forward better myself.
Cheers, Sadz.

Gotta love that foot protection!

This is using a go pro? What mount did you use?

Any regrets buying gopro vs say a contour?

The camera is my backup DSLR, a Sony A350. It's mounted to a 12 inch aluminum bar in place of my passenger peg.

I'm totally going to try this setup at my next track day..... Not sure what I was thinking with the stupid suction cup mounts or 3M Mounts..

If you don't ride track I suggest recording a series of lane splitting videos or real tight radius turns. I assure you nothing can go wrong.

It's actually free to hinge just like the peg. Which wouldn't do much for a cars paint, but it does keep it from taking me out. I keep it flipped up until I'm ready to use it. It touched yesterday and just piloted, didn't even feel it. Stills can found at. http://www.flickr.com/photos/lisagrant/

Instead of the arm, you could use a small dirt bike fork to mount the camera!, and then stick a knee slider to the outside of the camera. That might provide some crazy shots :)
