First flat tire. I'm at bloor and ossington. Need help and advice

I noticed a little less grip last night. This morning I noticed my rear tire was completely flat. It's a tube tire with spoked wheels.

I live near Bloor and Ossignton - do I have any options for a speedy, cheap fix - or am i completely screwed? I tried calling a few places near me but they are all closed. Harbord auto center doesn't have their bike mechanic in today either. Nor do they have tubes.

If I fill the rear with air - will I be able to ride it anywhere? Or does a mechanic need to come to me? Also - what am I looking at cost wise?

Thanks for any help in advance.

Call caa? Call for a tow? You need to remove the rear wheel and remove the inner tube. Then patch it up like how you woulf on a bicycle tire. This will be okay as temp or get those temp patcher thingy from crappy tire and hope that your tire is sealed to the rim.

First thing is to try and find the leak. It may be as simple as a bad valve core. If it is a nail I wouldn't ride it as it could do more damage. If it's caused by a puncture then removing the object and patching the inner tube should be the fix.

A quick get home fix may be that green goop they sell at Crapadian tire. It will seal nail holes.

You can try spraying a bottle of Slime into the tube to seal it. Available at bicycle shops or Canadian Tire. Quick but not permanent fix, enough to ride your bike home or to a shop.

I've patched a tube before, put the tire back on and everything together and took it out for a test ride......and picked up another puncture on the test ride....did it all over again.

If you can pump it up and it holds enough to get to a repair shop, get it patched. Though that slime stuff inside a tube is cleaner than in a tubeless tire. Pain to clean off rims I hear.

Thanks for all the tips everyone. Will definitely come in handy in the future.

I ended up walking the thing 1.2 kms to Motoretta. They charged 89 in labour and 13 for the tube. I didn't feel ripped off.

Hope you didn't have a heavy bike....
