Finally took the leap and purchased a bike!!!!

Hi everyone, my name is Thomas Holzschuher and live in Milton and purchased my first bike KLX 250s. Always loved dirt bikes but wanted something that I could ride on the streets as well. Have done a few mods to beef up the power. Got a great Deal - new 2010 model at NRC Kawasaki in Niagara.Got it just before the winter began so only 300 km on it right now, but I am waiting for the summer to kick in!!!Any good areas in the Halton or the surrounding area where we are legally allowed to ride off road? Waiting for the weather to change!!!Thomas

Welcome to the forum. I can't help you with the off-road question, however check the "Dirt/Off-road" section, the answer could be in there. If not I guess you could always check with the MTO office. Cheers

I just sold my klx250s to go back to a cbr. It was a nice bike. Biggest thing I can recommend is an exhaust and dynojet kit. That bike deff needed it. Stock exhaust can be plugged with your finger. Rather sad.

I agree!!! I purchased a Big Gun Exhaust and re-jetted the carb. A big difference, but it is a bit too loud. I am going to get the silencer insert and hope that it will decrease the noise!
