So I'm finally able to ride again!!!!! Last year I sold my 2002 Honda F4i because of financial reasons (also because the gf was concerned about my safety). It was one of the saddest moments in my life!!!
Every now and then I look in Kijiji to check out bikes, but I never thought I would be able to ride again so soon. My girlfriend (now fiancée) planned a surprise to get me a motorcycle!!!! She tried to contact my friend to help her with the surprise because she doesn't know how to ride the bike back to my place. Anyhow, I found out about the surprise and I'm super excited about it!!!
She found a me a Ducati 848!!!!!! However, I got some questions regarding some things...
1) The rear tires will not pass safety, where would you guys suggest to have it replaced? Because I won't be able to get a license plate, how should I get the motorcycle to a shop to change the tire?
2) The last bike I had, Ted Rose (Rosey?) came to my place in Markham to do the safety. Does anyone know if he still does at-home safety? Will he travel to Stoufville? (I probably have to get the tires changed first, does Ted's shop change tires? If so I can just do everything at his shop)
Any inputs would be great! It feels greatttttttttttttttttt to know that I'll be riding again!!
