For 12 years I've wanted a motorcycle. I fell in love with the Yamaha R6's looks when I first seen it in 2000, and over the years that love has never left. 12 years of excuses given to me by friends, family, and myself as to why I should stick with 4 wheels and not 2; but no more excuses. As with most things in life it took a bad breakup to realize that if I just kept putting it off I would always be 'that guy' that watches bikes go by, wistfully thinking "that could be me one day". So I hunkered down, saved some money, bought the gear, took the MSF course @ Niagara College, and started my bike hunt. I am now the proud owner of a new to me 2005 R6, and would like to give a big thank you to two GTAM members, Jlin for selling me the bike at such an amazing price, and to Jeero for not only helping me with the purchase, but also for rekindling that love for bikes that I had once thought lost. Here is the new lady in my life, her name is Alison :D

Hi. I'm Johnny Knoxville and welcome to Jack....oh no wait, that's not right.

I am jeero and I approve this message. This bike was hella fun to ride from Scarb to St Kits. Now I need to get me one.

Welcome, she's a beauty.

welcome! the R6 looks beautiful! congrats!

It figures that as soon as I get a bike a hurricane shows up on our front door!

I feel the same way about just getting a new bike after being bikeless for 6 weeks..

didn't stop me from riding anyways ;)

Same here, I've ridden her every day since I got her, plan on riding her till the snow gets here.

Just be careful. cold tires + cold asphalt = less traction; and the power of an R6 will break that traction very fast.

Brotherhood?? .... No one told me this was a Fraternity... oh well... welcome :jerk: oops wrong one I meant

Cool. Awesome looking bike. The R6 was one of the first bikes I fell in love with. I was in High School when it came out and till now it's still one of the best looking bikes out there. Congrats.
