DRZ400SM 2005 with 9000km on it. Took it out for a spin tonight on a gravel road and around the country, super loud, needs quiet insert, but still runs awesome!!! Will do 125 without stressing which is a huge step up from my KLR doing 105 hahaha! Cannot wait until I am ripping the roads with this bad boy!!

Naaice! I've always wanted a dual-sport. I've been enjoying more taking trails throughout the city. I'm sure I'd be able to explore even more with the DRZ =D But for now, my semi-offroad tyres shall do me good...it's a B!tch on sand though.

Question: If you do take your DRZ off road to a beach, let's say, does it make for premature wear on your sprockets when the sand gets on the chain?

I picked the bike up in Whitby. Original asking was 4900, but the seller had a hard time selling so ended up buying for 4000. I had taken my KLR on the beach with 50/50 tires, but almost dropping it every 5 seconds fishtailing, I will highly doubt I'm going to take the DRZ on the beach. Supermoto is so badass, I would go down to full lean angle on my KLR and take off ramps very quickly, but now with a real street tire, I'm pretty sure getting my first knee down will be a sinch!! (After getting used to the bike of course.)
