Fighting ticket, haven't got a court date.

So I got a ticket five months ago and decided to fight it. I still have not recieved a court date and whenever I call to see whats up I get a message that they're busy and I need to call another time.

What should I do in this situation? What's the maxium amount of time I have before I should assume my notice got "lost" in the mail? I've already got ****ed once because of **** like this and would prefer that it doesn't happen again.

Speaking of your previous ticket, and the current one if it comes to that: If you get convicted in your absence you can appeal because you never got notice, they'll just do your trial then!

you can also try going into the court's ticket office and see if a trial date has been setup
