Fighting a parking ticket

Has anyone had any luck fighting a parking ticket? Got one today for being half a foot over the no parking imaginary line. The guy wrote the make as “Kawasaki” despite the 450 Yamaha stickers on the bike. Wondering if its enough of an error to have it dismissed.
 
As mentioned, if the plate number is correct..and you were actually over a line (they often take photos, so don't be surprised if they show up in court with one if you try to fight it) you're probably stuck with the ticket.

I got a parking ticket in Oshawa a few months ago. They totally botched the plate number on the ticket, so yeah, I just tossed it in the garbage - since that's the only piece of info they use to register the ticket to the owners name...they probably eventually realized they screwed up and cancelled it, or some other poor soul somewhere else in the province is now fighting a ticket for a city they were perhaps never actually in that day.
 
I have one to fight too... found this on the door today when I got home, failure to get my cat's 2019 sticker, $100 +$25 victim's surcharge. Will Pointts or XCOPPER handle this case? Also, who has to pay the fine, me or the dirty cat?

The last licence I had for a cat was on my old cat (RIP) 10 years ago. This cat is 10, always run dirty. I guess they saw him sleeping on my car and booked him. Oh well, the cat has no money, I guess he’ll have to be a fugitive for the rest of his days.

He's a guard cat, he always look like that. He's fearless and ruthless -- that face is the last thing seen by a thousand mice, rabbits, birds and 1 fox.

I got a ticket on the cage in TO and the system for fighting it wasn't worth the $30.00. Where was the ticket issued and for how much? Read the back of the ticket for how to fight it and decide from there.
 
My cat won his case today. He plead stupid, got the fine down $0 but had to get himself ($20) and his buddy ($30) plated.

He know’s he was sleeping Dirty for a long time before he got caught as he played the odds.

Taking the Plea bargain at first resolution was the best outcome.
