Fernando @ St. Onge Recreation - Barrie

Hey everyone.

Just thought I'd create a review of my experience at St. Onge Recreation in Barrie.

I was in the market for a brand new bike, and since i'm a kawi guy, I wanted to buy the new 2013 636.

My brother in law bought his snow mobile from there and when he was there buying some gear, Fernando, who he dealt with too, told him to get me to call Fernando at the dealer for the bike.

So I did, Fernando was very helpful over the phone, he also gave me the best price I found out of 3 other dealers. Since I had already sat on the new 636, this transaction was going to be quick and easy.

I live about an hour away from St. ONge in Barrie, so Fernando allow me to leave a deposit over the phone, he ordered the bike and supplied me with a delivery date the day after, he confirmed my vin at the beginning of January, and said that my bike will arriive close to the end of January, Start of Feb.

I received the bike today (January 21st.) So he was pretty much bang on with the delivery date !

All and all, I went into the dealer twice, the first time because i was in the area and i knew the bike was delivered, so i wanted to see it, make sure it was ok and to get all the paperwork set up, and the second time was today, to pick up the bike and bring it home.

I have to say I'm very impressed with the level of customer service i received from St. Onge, Fernando made it easy to buy the bike as it was my first ever brand new bike, all i've ever owned were used bikes. He answered all my questions and replied to every email a few minutes after sending one !

Great Job St. ONge & Fernando ! I'll be going back from my break in tune up in the spring !!

We purchased a bike through Gerry at St Onge last year and our experience was similar to yours. Their sales staff are very honest genuine people who you can seem to trust. Not your typical pushy kind.

Actually I dealt with Gerry yesterday since Fernando was off on Mondays, but he had my paperwork all ready on the desk awaiting my arrival.

He was also a pleasure to deal with ! very kind and easy to talk to!.

I didnt make any deals with Fernando so I told Todd I dont care who I deal with, whoever can take my money and get me the bike is fine. They had a white/black on on early order due late Dec or early Jan, but I had them change their early order to green/black for me. I picked it up January 3rd. So it looks like you got that white/black one they were still waiting for....

So although I did not deal with Fernando I also had a great experience dealing with them, both with this purchase and my 09 ZX6R that also came from them...

HAha. yea i bet the white and black one was supposed to be your's ... I pick it up the 21st, but it was actuall delivered a week before or so

just want to update my thread cause ive dealt with fernando a little bit more.

a few days after my bike came home i noticed on the right side panel there were a few knicks and scuffs on it ..at this point i still havent touched the bike it was too cold to install my battery tender.

i told fernando about this issue ... he told to remove the panel and take some pictures .. i did and had sent them to him the morning after ... two hours later i had an email in my inbox stating a new panel had been ordered and i will have it within a week !!

all i have to do is bring my panel back to the dealer and pick up my new panel. which is good because i live an hour away from st onge and its not easy to get the bike back there, unless i ride it there but right now thats not gonna happen lol.

I am buying my new 300 ninja from st Onge and everything so far has been good. the best of all is the price is the best in the Gta. although i live in Toronto i will save so much money by just driving to barrie.
