I can't say that I'm an official rider YET ... Because I don't have a bike. I have my M2 and in dying need of my first bike ASAP. I'm at the 5 year mark and don't want my M exit to expire. I need to go for that test within a few months.

if anyone is willing to help me out and is selling or knows anyone selling a 250 or 300 or even a 500cc sports bike for cheap.

You will want to get in as much seat time as possible, though but this actually goes for any bike you get.

A good option is to buy a CBR125R (They usually cost $1000-2000) ride it around until you get you M then resell it for what you paid for it or take a mild loss. They cost nothing and you can find them with next to no mileage on kijiji.

I inquired about a 125 but they said they don't recommend 125 on the highway.
Im 5'9. Pretty tall. I sat on a 125 before and it felt small for me :(

Quit emasculating me D: I'm 5'10 and a half. I did my M2 exit with an 07 CBR125R, you just have to stay in the far right lane until you've gotten up to speed when using the on-ramp. I hit 138 km/h in a nice 18km/h tailwind and I did my exam when it was pissing rain and harsh winds, on a nice low breeze day you should be fine, assuming you are confident with the bike in general.
 
I may sell my bike soonish , I'm itching for some change , although I'll miss my first love.

Now now. Don't feel offended. I mean no harm. I'm just going off what I was told. All this is new to me.

Why not get frame sliders instead? Also, I love that cyan seat/rims with matching decals on Black paintjob! :B

Race prepped! It'd cost an arm and leg, though. I'd rather build one up myself. Nice Bimmer and lol Vauxhal Astra racecar.
