So, apparently a house was relieved of 39 cats in Hamilton - all were in terrible condition, with many needing eye removals due to infections.
If you can spare a few bucks, or spare some extra love for a potential companion who has had an absolute **** run of luck for their lives…

The cats and kittens are named after ice cream flavours, such as Butterscotch, Oreo, Butter Pecan, Bubble Gum and Cookies N Cream.

@POWERMAN, thanks for the link - I sent $50 bucks to the Burlington shelter. A tank of gas for me, a better life for an abused cat.

I’m a cat guy….
Have a massive Maine Coon and 2 smaller girls - a calico and a muted tortoise shell. The Torty has some major heart issues - found her in my back yard, tried finding an owner with signs, local social media and a chip check. No luck. I tried surrendering her to a local cat shelter, but they were full up and asked me to foster her, which I did. When it came time for spaying, she couldn’t be done, as her heart defect and grade 5/6 heart murmur was discovered.

I firmly believe that someone found out about her issues and simply put her out because they couldn’t afford or didn’t want to deal with it.
She’s costing me $2.50 a day in medication, but I love the little girl dearly.

Thanks so much to everyone who’s donating to help the poor cats out. They didn’t ask to be treated like this by a terrible human being…
At least they can learn to trust some good people like those here on GTAM…

I’m also a cat guy, my Russian blue i picked up off kijiji, he was found hanging out with rabbits one morning. Picked him up in Owen Sound
The people had no clue how he got there. He was only about 6wks old
