Fatal Collision - Hwy 9 & Country Rd 50

Nottawasaga OPP say the intersection of County Road 50 and Highway 9 near Loretto will be closed off for several hours, following a fatal collision involving a motorcycle. The crash happened around 11:30 this morning, the motorcyclist was pronounced dead on scene. Police are hoping to speak to a truck driver carrying a load of bricks northbound on 50 at the time of the crash.

OMG i just showed this article to my girlfriend as her dad's name is Raymond Arsenault and she dropped through the floor... fortunately for her, and unfortunately for this family, it wasn't her father. Didn't mean to threadjack, it's just such a surreal feeling that when I read the article the age and name were identical to her fathers and a million things were running though my mind. I wish the best for the family and offer my condolences. Ride safe people and hold the ones you love close and dear.
