FAST Riding School - Aug or Sept

Anyone in line to try? Aiming for Aug 29-30 (Phase 1-2) or Sept 12-14 (Phase 1-3).

Group discount kicks in at 5 or more riders @ FAST. I'm all for saving $ (course+rental+lodging) so figured worth mentioning.

Probably not this year but thinking about something next year.
For those that know, how does this compare to Racer5?
Shannonville is a bit further, but better track?

Grand bend is more tight/technical. Shannonville has better surface now but is better for middleweight bikes.

Racer5 is more track time with 125/250s, fast is more theory with 600s

Well I can argue track surface quality between Shannonville and Grand bend every single day of the week.
Shannonville has a much longer layout overall, but also has serious issues. Lots of concrete patches, water that regularly runs over Allen's corner for 2 days after a rain, hairpin onto the straight has a nasty seam...

GB has bumps and dips and tends to have some longer pooling water after rains... more layouts are possible and you can run it in reverse directions.

Don't get me wrong - I absolutely *LOVE* the long track layout at Shanny.. but until the whole track gets repaved, chances are I won't be back.
