im planning on getting new fairings and saw some cool custom ones on ebay some from the u.s.a and china...my question is has anyone ever ordered these and if so how was the quality and was it easy to fit as they quote on there site

Beware. I have mounted dozens. Some fit ok others are not even close (mount holes over 1" out). They look good from afar not so good upclose. A buddy bout a tribal RR set for his wife in pink. Left the pieces in his driveway for the afternoon while mounting and the sun washed the colour out so bad they were junked before they were mounted. I suspect they are using clear with no UV protection. Anyway beware.

None are Actually Manufactured in the USA, More just the middle man company is located there.
If they were made in the US they would be much more expensive.

Not sure on your bike but I was happy with cbrfairings.com :

Others are Delkevic and Auctmarts that are fairly well reviewed.

Just make sure you see where the wiring goes when you are removing them as it makes putting the new set go on much smoother.
All in all in was my first time removing all the fairings and it took a couple hours with little modifications.

And you can change any colours on the cbrfairings.com's colors to whatever you want for an extra $25 I think.
and if you have problems at all the customer service is in the US which makes it much easier.

I had a set on my bike...the fit for my bike was okay, holes and fairings lined up for the most part but I had to enlarge/stretch some of the holes. I ordered the tribal orange...paint quality was good but it wasnt a perfect match when you compare it to the OEM colour. The plastic that was used in mine was barely flexible at all! It was nerve racking to put on the seat fairing as you have to stretch it to get it on. I bought mine for $350 used from another member so I'm not complaining. Trashed the aftermarket fairings anyways so the OEM's are back on.
