fairing rattle - is there a simple fix?

I've got some rattle in my windshield where it meets the rest of the fairing (2008 CBR). I've tightened the bolts but i can't make it stop. putting my finger on it gently makes it sound beautiful. is there some sort of silicone or spray or injection that people use to dampen it?

+1 Depending on the windshield you can put wide/thin rubber washers between your fairing/shield. Nylon will work as well.

Yeah, go to Lowes (i only say this because their metric section is killer) and find a rubber washer or grommet that fits over the screen, and put that between the windshield and the fairing. This will deaden the vibrations.

Foam weatherstripping tape is useful, too. Whatever works.
