Fair market value 2010 Yamaha R6

My friend got a 2010 R6 he would like to sell, it has about 2000km on it, has been laid down in the parking lot so the right mirror has a minor damage on it; nothing major. Other than that its well maintained.

What do you guys think would be a fair price for it?
I see few bikes with the same year with way more km on it for 10k and some even for 12k which baffles me coz you can buy a 2012 off the lot for 13k.

that's asking price. they will never sell at those prices. chances are they marked it up to compensate for low ballers.
 
People have no clue for value of used bikes. Frankly, this kind of investment around 10k, i think your not wise to buy used. Used would be for 5k or under.... IMHO.

Brand new 2011 R6 can be had in Ontario for $10700.

I'd start at $500
 
the bike being dropped i would fix anything that was scratched. being 2000km and 2 years old id want every receipt for the bike sounds like a garage queen or a newb crashed it. all fixed up is say around 9-9400
